Born in Derbyshire and now residing in Northamptonshire, Kealey Farmer is largely a self-taught artist. With a successful background in corporate project management which she left behind in 2003 following the birth of her second son.

Kealey then turned back to her childhood passion of doodling, drawing and painting and began concentrating on her professional painting career. After some 25 years experimenting with art mediums, techniques and practices Kealey is very much an accomplished, full time, professional artist and one of the most well known in the UK contemporary art scene, her work is collected and sought after globally.

Kealey’s love of colour, reflection and fluid movement shines through in her unique, often stylised 3D work which she began in 2006. Her use of glass, diamond dust, Swarovski® crystals and glossy resin finishes have become synonymous with her work, which often depicts, hearts, flowers, cats and trees summed up in dream like imagery about love, romance, relationships and family.
