Born in Staffordshire, England in 1963 and still living there to this day, Dale Bowen always had an artistic bent, he studied Art at Newcastle College and went on to work at Coalport China as a master potter, later defecting to Wedgewood where he continued to work for some 15 years. He created many prestigious pieces at the latter including one for the Queen Mothers 100th birthday and another for the HMS Victory celebrations. Notably his works were exhibited in museums all over the world, with price tags exceeding £100k.

Having returned to his first love of painting Dale is experiencing unsurprisingly enormous success in this field too, often selling out in super-fast time. His diverse subject matter, use of vibrant acrylic colours and textural application appeal to adults and children.

His Marine Scenes, billowing sails on literally bobbing boats are so energetic one can imagine being onboard, feeling every ebb and flow of each wave and the brilliantly painted crests splashing on your face!
