For a painting called, ‘The Man with the Balloon’ it’s pretty near impossible to picture said balloon by all graphical accounts, yet maybe that’s a visual curveball thrown in by a contemporary artist known for his avoidance tactics which typically distract us from bigger picture.
And pictorially unnerving pieces like Edward’s brand new release don’t come much bigger than this, as we look out on a Churchillian figure; hands firmly entrenched in his overcoat who’s clearly fascinated by the presence of something caught off canvas.
