The urban artistic landscape is often blotted (in a good way, obviously) by the appearance of hugely popular contemporary cityscape painter, Phillip Bissell’s iconic red, London-circumnavigating Routemaster buses.

They’ve been previously clocked gatecrashing just about every famous landmark in the UK’s capital city. So it’ll surprise nobody to learn that Bissell’s latest limited edition release – entitled, ‘Lunch Hour’ – finds the familiar and symbolic double decker – crossing Westminster Bridge, with the Houses of Parliament in its rear-view mirror.

This brand new, hand-embellished composition is presented 24 inches squared (which means it could hang just about anywhere in your home) and forms 50% of Bissell’s current, ‘On the Buses’ mini-series of prints.
