Doing what they’ve made a habit of doing for the best part of 50 years (i.e., performing proper rock music to millions of fans across the globe) The Rolling Stones’ perpetual star is once more in the ascendancy this summer on account of their recent headlining sets at both the iconic Glastonbury festival and London’s Hyde Park concerts.
So, seizing while the iron’s hot, the artistic Stone (that’ll be bass player, Ronnie Wood to the uninitiated) has chosen this time to release his brand new, limited edition boxed canvas piece seen here, and entitled, ‘Electric Horses’.
Revealed as an instrumental part of Wood’s latest ‘Raw Instinct’ collection, this (artist-signed and individually numbered) illustratively lavish and pictorially epic visual canvas feast sees the band in familiar mid-performance stage pose, with a considered crowd silhouette forged in the foreground (complete with now obligatory camera phones capturing the moment), whilst the backdrop is positively alive with electrifying white stallions.
