A pioneer and habitually practising exponent of the much celebrated analogue ‘Lo-Fi’ source material, Louis Sidoli is every graphic inch the modern day pop art dandy as he routinely side-steps the temptation of Photoshop and other image manipulators et al in favour of what he describes as the ‘simplicity, raw honesty and imperfections’ indicative of his more stripped back aesthetic approach to his own specialized brand of contemporary figurative art.
