Seemingly taking a compositional sabbatical from his habitual sea and general maritime-flavoured landscapes it would appear, one of the UK’s most prolific and respected contemporary seascape artists, Duncan MacGregor has turned his hand to a more land-lubbing mini-series of studies on this occasion, as testified in his newly released Spring 2014 collection now available.

This particular offering – and MacGregor’s very latest – is entitled, ‘In For Repairs’, and in its artist-signed hand-embellished giclee-resonating pictorial form it’s certainly lost nothing in terms of its stunning aesthetic now that the subject matter is removed from its more normal watery surround. Strictly limited to a mere 195 editions suggests that business will be nothing if not brisk on this new MacGregor piece, hence us suggesting that interest should be registered sooner rather than later.
