Paying its illustrative respects to some of the most easily identifiable and iconic works of album cover art ever to be seen, Temper’s much anticipated new collection unveiled this Spring promised to be a sight for sore eyes. Just one glance of the Birmingham artisan’s very latest mini-series, ‘Cover:Versions’ doesn’t disappoint, as fans and collectors of the contemporary graffiti and conceptual artist are treated to a Temper twist like no other.
‘Overshadowed Intro’ is the Spring 2014 graphic reinvention of a familiar LP cover to anyone who’s bought and collected some of the most generation-defining albums of the past decade or so; being as it is illustratively based on DJ Shadow’s ‘Endtroducing’ long player. This brand new, artist-signed giclee on paper compositional release is also packaged and presented as a limited edition piece, meaning that on account of the mini-series brandishing just the 195 examples sales will be brisk. Very brisk. So we’d urge you to register your interest ASAP.
