Whilst more normally associated with the compositional delivery of rural splendours and more inland-set panoramas, widely-respected and hugely popular contemporary landscape artist, Paul Corfield has instead this time turned to the coastline for pictorial inspiration; as conveyed in his brand new September 2014 release entitled, ‘Watching the Waves Roll In’.
Purists, don’t fret though, as Corfield’s visual hallmarking of a distant white dwelling is still observed clinging to the edge of a cliff in the middle distance, safe and sound from the waves crashing into the rocks beneath and all the time cast in the affectionate light of an enigmatic sundown. This giclee on canvas representation, measuring just 40” x 20” is limited to only 95, artist-signed examples, so we’d urge interested parties to move fast on this one.
