There’s something of the Willy Wonka’s about the chocolate box-esque frontage of this prime new Paul Corfield illustrative real estate. It must surely be the underlying fact that both the distant clouds permeating the skyline and the far closer trees resonate a very chocolatey flavour. Looking strangely akin to giant, over-sized Maltesers, Minstrels or Chocolate Buttons. Or Aero bubbles magnified. AND there’s serious blamanche overtures in the bottom right hand corner.
Corfield please, forgive us our graphic sins, yet every unique picture of yours tells its own story and ‘Lavender Lane’, well, tells us a very chocolatey one. Confectionary delights aside, this brand new September 2014 release by the past master of all things contemporarily landscaped is presented as a limited edition, giclee on canvas study, and is packaged complete with Corfield’s scrawl about its pictorial person. Now if only we could distract ourselves long enough from the deliciousness of its cover shot……
