Quickly, the train is about to depart from platform Love, situated at Romanceville’s nostalgia-fuelled railway station, if we don’t put our best foot forward we won’t make it in time. The guard looks at his watch and beckons the laggers as the steam bellows from the engines about to leave the station. Add into this heady visual mix the onset of rain, whilst the bigger contemporary cityscape picture is completed with more than a hint of the silver screen, and what you have is, of course, a signature Jeff Rowland composition.
The critically acclaimed fine art exponent’s very latest one as it happens, in all of its canvas on board-presented natural. Limited to an admittedly meagre offering of just 150 (albeit hand-monikered) editions from the off, this brand new Autumn 2015 pictorial release – entitled ‘We’re Almost There’ - by the best-selling Rowland can be yours to treasure this season, as Rowland instantaneously reminds us all of what we’ve been missing in the intervening time between his last collection was launched and this latest advent.
