Illustratively transported back in time to Lewis Carroll’s 150-year celebrating children’s novel that we’re all instantly familiar with, ‘Lost Alice’ is the graphically dramatic and visually retold continuation of events, according to one of the most creative minds of his chosen contemporary fine art genre, if not times per se; namely Peter Smith. Weaving pictorial connections betwixt and between Wonderland and other established if not equally mythical worlds, the award-winning Smith entertains all comers with his compositional interpretation of a significantly darker side to Alice and her fictitious companions.

Not only has Alice returned to Wonderland (as Smith returns to his native fine art fold this Autumn 2015), but something has physically changed. Not least her half young-self and half Red Queen appearance. Alongside the obvious Carroll influences it’s fair to say that Smith has been seemingly inspired by the more modern like of movie director, Tim Burton too, as he’s put together his brand new portfolio, chief amongst which is this canvas on board limited edition offering. Entitled ‘Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who’s the Fairest of the All’, this 14.75" x 24" pictorial homage to both Carroll and Burton can be yours with immediate effect by contacting us today.
