Never an artist to rest on his creative laurels for too long, the exciting contemporary landscape art exponent who we have championed for a long time now, namely Paul Corfield, has returned this Spring 2016 with yet another string to his illustrative bow in the shape and form of dots it would appear. With a penchant for graphically experimenting with new techniques within the confines of his chosen landscapes, the ever-popular Corfield has plumped for a dot process if you examine the trees in his latest giclee on board limited edition study closely.
‘The Great Outdoors’ seemingly showcases its new look on the trunks of the aforementioned trees on scrutiny, which to the best of our knowledge pictorially represents a first. And proves that Corfield is prepared to formulate new visual means of communicating his narrative rather than simply rely on the tried and tested (and extremely successful) methods he’s applied previously. We are now inviting interest and enquiries on this hand-signed piece, and it’s fair to say are predicting a deal of fascination from the get-go.
