Fans of comedic-faced and (therein) instantly loveable bovines the world over will rejoice to learn that (potentially) one of their contemporary wildlife humour art-practising pin-ups, Caroline Shotton has returned to the genre fray this Summer 2016; and with it she udders ushers in this delightful moo-ment in time. A triumvirate of three very familiar faces peer out of this giclee on boxed canvas limited edition piece, which is entitled ‘Bring Me Sunshine in Your Smile’. Which to the uninitiated was the title of a hugely popular little ditty made famous by TVs enduring light entertainment duo, Morecambe and Wise. Naturally enough, being a hand-signed Shotton iteration , this 36” squared study conveys the expected wit and warmth which have become synonymous with her signature compositional style.
