From trees and trinkets to flowers and fairies, the magical art of Kerry Darlington is as diverse as it is visually mesmerising, and the widely regarded contemporary fine art exponent’s brand new Autumn 2016 pictorial reveal is certainly not about to buck that trend. The best-selling (and much collected) Darlington's tribe of benign fairy-folk hail from the mythical Welsh landscape so dear to her heart, having been born and bred in North Wales in the 1970s; and has even named the individual characters running amok within the parameters of her latest hand-signed, embellished and glossed Unique Edition piece. The latter said to have been inspired by figures derived from Celtic folklore. Entitled, ‘Flying Home’ this ornately illustrated and elaborately graphicised new 36” x 24” iteration bears Darlington’s moniker about its surface area and can now be enquired about via our usual channels of communication.
