Few compositional pieces are bigger, bolder, brazen-er (if there’s such a word?) and more beautiful-er?? than an Emma Grzonkowski example. We should know, as we’ve been privy to enough in recent years to illustratively vouch for such a seismic claim. However the visual fact of the matter is, the acclaimed contemporary figurative art exponent has a pleasing habit of producing hugely engrossing (and graphically spectacular) works of hand-embellished giclee art, such as this; her brand new summer 2017 release. ‘Struck by Love’ manifests itself as an individually signed limited edition print, lifted directly from the much sought after Grzonkowski’s very latest collection, itself entitled ‘Alter Egos.’ Explaining the pictorial ethos behind this piece in particular (and the new portfolio in general), Grzonkowski adds; “In a world where 'perfection' is prized, I have shown something raw and real. I hope people can relate to these triumphs and tribulations and feel empowered. I want to show that it is okay to have scars and wounds...they are reminders of the battles we've all fought and won.”
