The incredible talented contemporary figurative art exponent, Emma Grzonkowski recalls how she used to ask her dad to sketch something for her, if she herself was struggling to create a particular drawing as a child. On agreeing to take over the mantle, Grzonkowski would avidly watch as her father completed what she’d started, after which she would pin the finished graphic article on her childhood bedroom wall. It’s at this point she would copy it, over and over again; until such time as Grzonkowski was happy with the result. This striving to achieve the desired compositional effect from a young age has certainly spurned the best-selling fine artist on over the subsequent years, where today she’s acknowledged as one of the best in her genre and indeed, beyond its pictorial parameters. The aptly-titled ‘Daddy’s Girl’ sees yet another return to visual form this summer 2017 for Grzonkowski, in the sublimely illustrated guise of this hand-embellished and signed boxed canvas number, now available to enquire about. Limited from launch to a mere 50 editions, it’s fair to say we’re bracing ourselves for significant interest, and would therefore urge those with serious intent to contact us ASAP.
