“I'll paint the whole world silver and gold if I could”. That was the gospel of future art, chapter 1, verse 1 according to a young, would-be contemporary fine artist called Kealey Farmer when she was small. Still, that somewhat determined childhood promise did eventually lead to a lifetime love affair with art and yes, more than a recurrent penchant for the occasional flashes of both gold and silver, with value-added compositional brilliance. Fast forward a few decades, and here of autumn 2017 the best-selling art exponent continued brush with fame and fortune via her well-directed brushstrokes continues to gather pace, this time in the hand-embellished and signed giclee context of Farmer’s brand new limited edition release, entitled – what else but - ‘Life’s Golden Moments’. A distant silhouette figure swings beneath a tree, as the world around them glistens is a fitting description for a typical Farmer iteration, and one which is destined – like that little girl of yore – for great things.
