Having previously experienced various initial callings in life (including working in radio, TV and song-writing), the now much sought-after contemporary sculpture art practitioner, Ed Rust finally arrived at the place he now calls (career) home, a little later than some of his peers. Still, he’s wasted no time in establishing himself on his chosen creative scene, and today boasts fans and seasoned collectors far and wide. Harking back to the juncture when it dawned on Rust that he was destined for alternative things, he explains how (when employed as a freelance news and sport cameraman for Yorkshire TV) while making an arty short film at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park he was suddenly reminded to what he was, subconsciously anyway, missing.
And so the seeds of change/leap of career faith were planted, whilst the rest is history. Here in the autumn of 2017 Rust has just launched his much anticipated new hand-signed bronze sculpted limited edition, entitled ‘Go for Goal’. An exquisitely detailed and subtly flowing piece, which stands some 14” x 13”; and is now available to enquire about via our normal channels of communication.
